The Trap of Comparison | Bishop Vincent Mathews

The Trap Of Comparison

Bishop Vincent Mathews

Comparison makes you resent blessings you once prayed for. In this message, Bishop Vincent Mathews teaches from Psalm 73, showing how comparison distorts reality while worship restores perspective.

This teaching walks through Asaph’s honest struggle, the danger of envy, and the turning point that came when he entered the sanctuary of God. Bishop Mathews shows how comparison feeds selective perception, erodes gratitude, and makes obedience feel like a bad investment. But when perspective is corrected in God’s presence, comparison fades and closeness with God becomes enough.
