Vincent Mathews, Jr.
Senior Pastor
Bishop Vincent E. Mathews, Jr. is a global leader, educator, and pastor. Born in Inkster,
Michigan, he is a graduate of Wayne State University, the University of Illinois, and holds a
Doctor of Theology. A former collegiate athlete, Fulbright Fellow, and U.S. Army Reserve
veteran, Mathews has served in ministry for over two decades. He and his wife, Sharon, with
whom he shares 11 children, spent 12 years as missionaries in South Africa, where they grew a
church from 6 to over 2,500 members and established a CHRISTian school. He later served as
President of COGIC World Missions, impacting over 112 countries. Today, he pastors
Tabernacle Church in Southaven, Mississippi, and leads multiple community initiatives. An
author and speaker, his life’s mission is to serve GOD and uplift others worldwide.

Evangelist Katrina Scott is a devoted lover of GOD’s Word and a passionate teacher and
minister of the Gospel. With a kind heart and a servant’s spirit, she works diligently in various
areas of ministry, always ready to lend a helping hand wherever there is a need. Evangelist
Scott currently serves faithfully as the Associate Pastor of the Prayer Pillar, where her love for
intercession and dedication to prayer shines. She also enjoys lifting her voice in praise as a
faithful member of the choir. Known for her humility, compassion, and unwavering work
ethic, Evangelist Scott is a true example of servant leadership in the Body of CHRIST.
Patrick l. walker
Associate Pastor- Teaching
Patrick Walker is an Associate Pastor at Tabernacle Church, where he has faithfully served
the congregation for five years. With a deep commitment to spiritual growth and community
leadership, Patrick Walker plays a vital role in guiding the church’s teaching ministry and
supporting its mission. Having answered the call to serve, Walker is a GOD -made holiness
preacher, affirming the true Word of GOD with fervent dedication to serving GOD in teaching
and feeding the people of GOD. His passion for Scripture and compassionate heart enable him
to minister effectively to diverse members of the church family. Beyond his church duties,
Patrick Walker is actively involved in community service, outreach programs, church
committees, etc, embodying the values of faith in action. Patrick Walker is known for his

serving GOD's people, David brings a wealth of spiritual wisdom and a visionary approach to
nurturing the church’s discipleship ministries. Under his guidance, the Discipleship Pillar has
become a cornerstone of spiritual growth, empowering individuals and families to deepen their
relationship with CHRIST. David's leadership is marked by a servant’s heart, focusing on
cultivating an environment where every member can thrive spiritually, emotionally, and
practically. With an emphasis on teaching, mentoring, and holistic development, David is

Pastor Derrick Simon Jr serves as the Next-Generation Pastor at Tabernacle Church, where he is passionately committed to equipping children, youth, and young adults to know CHRIST, grow in their faith, and boldly live out the Gospel in today’s world. With a heart for discipleship and a vision for the future of the Church, Pastor Derrick leads with energy, authenticity, and an unwavering love for the next generation. With 5 years of ministry experience working with children and youth, he oversees dynamic ministries that include Student Church, Youth Ministry, and College Ministry. Whether preaching the Word, mentoring students, or empowering young leaders, Pastor Derrick works to create spaces where faith comes alive and lasting transformation begins.
Katrian Malone
Associate Pastor- HELPS
Compassion in Action, Katrian Malone, affectionately known as Sister Kaye, has been in training her entire life to serve GOD's Kingdom. She continues to be a lifelong learner of divine principles to apply these lessons to everyday living with relentless consistency. Sister Malone enjoys making new, positive memories with her family and friends, journaling aspirations, decoding the day's experiences, and biking (It's electric.). Through the Helps Pillar, Sister Kaye seeks to lead in Tabernacle values by demonstrating the INTERCONNECTIVITY of each believer within the ministry.
