Gods Economy VS the Worlds Economy Bishop Vincent Mathews

God's Economy vs the World's Economy | Bishop Vincent Mathews

What do you do when the economy says hold back, fear says panic, and scarcity says there is not enough?

Genesis 26 shows another way.

Isaac faced a real famine, but the famine did not determine his future. He obeyed God, stayed where God placed him, sowed in difficult conditions, and reaped a hundredfold harvest in the same year.

In this message, Bishop Vincent Mathews teaches the difference between God's economy and the world's economy.

The world's economy is driven by conditions.

God's economy is driven by covenant.

The world's economy says wait until conditions improve.

God's economy says obey Me where I placed you.

The world's economy says protect everything you have.

God's economy says keep sowing.

The world's economy produces fear and scarcity.

God's economy calls us to faith, obedience, productivity, stewardship, and multiplication.

Genesis 26 begins with a famine.

Food was scarce.

Resources were tight.

The future was uncertain.

But famine was the setting.

It was not the conclusion.

Isaac's story moved from famine to fruitfulness.

This message explores:

• How to trust God during economic uncertainty

• Why God's economy begins with covenant

• Why Isaac was told not to go down to Egypt

• How fear can tempt us to return to old ways

• Why God's provision is often connected to placement

• How to grow where God has planted you

• Why God's economy is seed-based

• The biblical principle of sowing and reaping

• Why sowing is about more than money

• How to sow faith, obedience, prayer, discipline, excellence, service, skills, generosity, integrity, and forgiveness

• Why a dry season is not permission to become fruitless

• The difference between a hundredfold return and the blessing of God

• Why believers are called to be fruitful, multiply, and have dominion

• How to reject scarcity thinking

• Why you should continue investing in your skills and development

• How the Macedonian church gave generously even in deep poverty

• Why blessing must be managed well once the harvest arrives

One of the most important principles in this message is simple:

If famine cannot stop your seed, famine cannot stop your harvest.

You do not have to wait for perfect conditions.

You can sow in the famine.

You can build in the famine.

You can learn in the famine.

You can serve in the famine.

You can give in the famine.

You can develop your skills in the famine.

You can remain faithful in the famine.

And God can produce fruit in places where everybody else sees impossibility.

Isaac sowed in the same land where there was famine and reaped in the same year.

He began to prosper.

He continued prospering.

And he became very prosperous.

The famine was real.

But so was God's covenant.

Do not let the headlines determine your faith.

Do not let fear control your decisions.

Do not allow scarcity to stop your seed.

Ask God before you panic.

Ask God before you quit.

Ask God before you relocate.

Ask God before you go back to Egypt.

Trust God.

Keep sowing.

Manage the harvest when it comes.

And learn how to live according to God's economy.
